Overview: In its traditional form, Clifford analysis provides thefunction theory for solutions of the Dirac equation. From thebeginning, however, the theory was used and applied to problems inother fields of mathematics, numerical analysis, and mathematicalphysics. recently, the theory has enlarged its scope considerably byincorporating geometrical methods from global analysis on manifoldsand methods from representation theory. New, interesting branches ofthe theory are based on conformally invariant, first-order systemsother than the Dirac equation, or systems that are invariant withrespect t
