Experimental Investigation of Locomotive Efficiency of a Soft Robotic Eel with a Largely Passive Bodming efficiency at 1.0 Hz with the highest velocity of 12.46 cm/s (or 0.235 BL/s (Body Length per second)), with lowest COT (cost of transport) of 9.39. Stacked Modulation Architecture for Simultaneous Exploration and Navigation of a Biped Robotns. This architecture provides a design criterion of each unit function module such that it accepts incomplete and noisy information from the upper-layer modules asynchronously. Simultaneous exploration and navigation (SEAN) system for a biped robot was implemented based on the architecture and evaluated on a computer simulation.
