Deweys Lectures in China,rs that this chapter should be read together with Chapter 5; the explanations in Chapter 6 are not 100% in line with Dewey’s basic idea. An analysis of these circumstances can already be found in Chapter 5 and is not repeated in this chapter.

Conclusion,golden age of Chinese national industry in 1914-1922. While the old social equilibrium was out of balance, new social structures and disparities were formed as a result of advancing industrialization and urbanization.
