Understanding Computer Architecture with Visual Simulations: What Educational Value?,d successfully applied during scheduled practical tutorial classes in years two and three of a three year undergraduate computing degree. The results are presented both qualitatively and quantitatively and are strongly indicative of the positive pedagogical value offered by the system simulations.
