Expanding the Role of Self-Assessment: From Assessing to Learning Englishsurement-oriented notion of assessment (.) rather than a learning-oriented notion of assessment (.). The chapter discusses how self-assessment can be used innovatively to directly help primary school children learn English, rather than being used simply as a measurement tool.
