Planning Learning Activities plan for the kinds of opportunities students will have and challenges they will face using mobile technology for WPL. We also suggest approaches to planning these activities that will strengthen students’ critical digital literacy, ‘epistemic fluency’, professional agency and capacity for lifelong learning.

Designing a Mobile Technology Capacity Building Framework for Workplace Learningidence that there is value in using mobile technology to enhance WPL and helped us identify seven themes that underpin a productive use of mobile technology for WPL and the five learning dimensions to foster student agency. Finally, we discuss how the seven themes are related to the five learning dimensions.

Deepening Reflectionof helping students understand reflection as a continuous activity associated with action and the improvement of practice. We propose concrete examples of technology-enhanced structured and scaffolded reflective activities for WPL. These activities offer ways of creating and seizing opportunities for reflection while on placement.
