Spaces for Storytellingngs struggle to allow opportunities for open-ended, non-instrumental dialogue. Storytellers, it is argued, should aim to develop new vernaculars of storytelling which strengthen young people’s own lifeworld within schools and other youth settings, and create space for collaborative creativity within the gaps and interstices that exist there.
