The Cellular Origin of the Light Peakange in the corneoretinal potential can originate from either or both the neural retina and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE). By recording the potential change across each of these tissues we learned that the light peak originates solely from the RPE, as an increase in the trans-epithelial potential
