Weighted Importance Sampling Techniques for Monte Carlo Radiosity,cal fluctuations and lead to a lower mean square error. Although weighted importance sampling is a simple extension to importance sampling, our experiments indicate that it can lead to a substantial reduction of the error at a very low additional computation and storage cost.

Although our research is at an early stage, the results are already quite promising; we are able to render in real-time a virtual city with thousands of walking humans on a standard PC. Several avenues for further investigation are finally proposed.

Artistic Multiprojection Rendering,een geometry rendered with different local cameras. We also develop several camera constraints that are useful when initially setting local camera parameters and when animating the scene. We demonstrate applications of our methods for generating a variety of artistic effects in still images and in animations.
