Conclusion: Toward a Public Multilingualism,roach in a society such as Hawaiʻi that adheres to a “monolingual mindset,” but it also highlights how the long tradition of linguistic resistance and resiliency offers hope for greater acceptance in the future of a public multilingualism in Hawaiʻi.
