Task-Oriented Design Method and Experimental Research of Six-Component Force Sensor to perform peg-in-hole assembly task with the task-oriented sensor, the sensor prototype is designed and manufactured. Based on the assembly platform, the experimental research is carried out. The research results are useful for the design and application of six-component force sensor.

Performance Indices for Parallel Robots Considering Motion/Force Transmissibilityined based on the reciprocal product of screw theory, and suggested as the evaluation criteria for the optimal design of parallel robots. These indices are frame-free and their values fall into a finite range [0 1]. To illustrate their merits and applications, some cases have also been provided.

Mechatronic Design of an Upper Limb Prosthesis with a Handly reliable embedded electronics, effective control architecture are devised to manage complexity of the system.
