The CO Sideband Spectrometer,iation allows the generation of narrow (< 300 kHz) IR radiation which can be used for high-resolution spectroscopy of complexes. The overall experimental setup of a such a spectrometer is shown in Fig. 7.1. The spectrometer consists of several components, which will be described individually below.
