LRMalloc: A Modern and Competitive Lock-Free Dynamic Memory Allocator kill-tolerance availability, and/or deadlock and livelock immunity. LRMalloc’s purpose is to show the feasibility of lock-free memory management algorithms, without sacrificing competitiveness in comparison to commonly used state-of-the-art memory allocators, especially for concurrent multithreaded applications.

A GPU-Based Metaheuristic for Workflow Scheduling on Cloudswork, we propose optimizations on HEA-TaSDAP by taking advantage of the massive parallelism provided by GPUs, leveraging the scheduling of larger instances in a reasonable amount of time. Our parallel solution provided about 98.83% of reductions in the scheduling time, keeping the quality of the solutions.

ally treated metal surfaces the recognition rate of 99.8% was obtained for image database of four texture types corresponding to metal surfaces after milling, polishing with sandpaper, turning with lathe and polishing with file. We propose to combine these two subsystems to computer vision system for manufacturing of micro workpieces.
