Thus, in terms of the glycolytic enzymes, fiber-type differentiation appears to progress via a transformation from a slow-type phenotype to a fast-type (335).

Myotrophic Factor(s) in Normal and Dystrophic Chicken Skeletal MusclePM muscle contain a growth-promoting factor other than Tf which we have yet to identify. The Tf studies are published (359, 360) and we will simply summarize them here with an attempt to relate the findings to normal and dystrophic muscle growth.
