Petter Gottschalk,Lars Gunnesdal of the absorption regions, the accretion disk corona, causes very strong attenuation of TeV γ-rays produced near to its centre, and suggests that a more likely method for their creation would be the dumping of a proton beam into some outlying matter, such as the rim of the accretion disk.
