Two Models for Hydraulic Cylinders in Flexible Multibody Simulations,e embeded with a friction model based on a bristle approach. The models are implemented in a finite element enviroment. In time the coupled stiff differential equation system is integrated using the L-stable Rosenbrock method.

Improved Implicit Immersed Boundary Method via Operator Splitting,er, the proposed immersed boundary method is incorporated into the rotational incremental projection method as a plug-in. No numerical boundary layers will be generated towards the velocity and pressure during the calculation. The method is validated through various benchmark tests.
