描述Amino acids are featured in course syllabuses and in project and research work over a wide spectrum of subject areas in chemistry and biology. Synthesis of Amino Acids,overage has been provided. No attempt has been made to cover large-scale fermentative production of some of the protein amino acids [1] but due emphasis is given in this chapter to the use of protein amino acids as starting materials for the synthesis of other α-amino acids.
