Transport Networks and Insular Isolationn B (Goldstein et al., 1979) were isolated. Interestingly, although opioid peptides are derived from different precursor molecules (for review see Höllt, 1986), they share at their N-terminal a [Met.]- or [Leu.]enkephalin sequence. The opioid peptides exert their biological effects via stimulation of specific receptors.
