Lecture Notes in Computer Sciencefluctuation analysis is described, and the results of the numerical investigation of microroughness of surfaces of investigated samples are presented. As follows from the calculated numerical parameters, the surface of (TiAlSiY)N/CrN coating is the smoothest and the surface of (TiAlSiY)N is the most non-uniform.
