The Antecedents of Disorder Reception and Comprehension,nd in his ability to express himself verbally. These two major aspects of the child’s language performance may be subdivided into three components or functions. There is the level of sensory and motor functions, and there are the cognitive and communicative functions. These are represented schematically in Fig.7.1.
