A dual approach for creating very large virtual models, achieved by supporting multiple levels of detail, different visualizations and different platforms..This paper describes a dual way of producing models that meet the demands mentioned above. By combining two specific modelling approaches it is possible to create cost-efficient and object-based virtual models.
