Field Measurements of the Attenuation of Vibration Between an Underground Tunnel and Ground Surface tion at higher frequencies. A frequency-dependent empirical model was employed to describe the ground attenuation loss. This can be used to improve ground-borne noise and vibration predictions for projects with similar ground conditions.

Eliminating the Influence of Additional Sensor Mass on Structural Natural Frequency in the Modal Expfixing the contact sensor near the mode nodes. The experiments are implemented for a cantilever beam and a suspended beam to verify this method. Results of the first three order frequencies indicate that the accurate modal data can be obtained by using the present method as compared to theoretical results.

Vibration Reduction of a Composite Plate with Inertial Nonlinear Energy Sinkstructure of the resonance frequencies. The vibration reduction effect of the inertial NES is compared with the system without NES, which greatly reflects the superiority of the inertial NES. It provides a good reference value for the vibration suppression scheme of the composite plate structure in a wide frequency range.
