Further, we observed that the performance generally decreased with every successive IMF. The highest accuracy was obtained using the MFCCs extracted from the first IMF in the CNN model (91.27%).

Based on the simulation results and conducted comparative analysis, it is observed that the proposed hybrid approach has outperformed other sophisticated approaches and that it can be used as a tool for other time-series prediction.
