Construction of Microbial Cell Factories by Systems and Synthetic Biotechnology,e further optimization and regulation of metabolic network were discussed. Furthermore, we also highlighted the role of system biology such as omics technology, genomics-based metabolic model, and genome-scale engineering tools. Finally, future perspectives on the design and construction of microbial cell factories were provided.
