Long-Term Follow-Up After Surgery for Chronic Spondylogenous Myelopathypointing, since it has no effect other than halting the progression of neurologic deficits in most of the cases. This prompted us to conduct a follow-up study, the purpose being to shed light on those factors which might improve postoperative results.

Long-Term Results After Operative Treatment of Cervical Myelopathy by Laminectomy consisted of a more or less extensive laminectomy; in each case the dura mater was opened and the dentate ligaments cut. Early results were published by KUHLENDAHL and FELTEN (.). Patients operated on by other methods during the last decade are not considered in this report.
