The Dispersion of Organic Pigments in Aqueous Media, the design of polymers as a grinding vehicle specially for organic pigments is presented. Results demonstrate that the waterborne organic pigment dispersions can be prepared for high quality printing and coating formulations.

Improvement of Wet Adhesion of Organic Coatings by Thin Adhesion Layeroatings on the substrates. The combination of crosslinkable macromolecules used as a binder with barrier properties of the thin adhesion layer of coating can provide an interesting alternative for the common electrochemical protection for heavy duty applications.

Xenon-NMR: A New Probe for Studying Structural Changes of Polymeric Surfactantsed to be in a hydrocarbon-rich region. We also carried out investigations of solubilizate effect on association. Co(AcAc). solubilizate was chosen since the association site was more hydrophilic in nature. Surface tension studies which were complimentary to the NMR work is reported as well.

Surfactants in Coatings and Paint Applicationsrmation and paint stabilization to reduce particle size in order to prevent settling of the dispersed phase. A method of paint evaluation and performance characterization was described in order to determine proper surfactant selection for optimum properties of the coating and paint films.
