Introduction,ical and systematic treatments. Structural details evident in the micrographs are particularly germane to the extensive LM studies on fossil spores. Reference to these and stratigraphic work, included in the commentary as they relate to spores of the extant genera, are considered supplementary, rather than a review of paleopalynology.
