Spin Structures on Hypersurfaces and the Spectrum of the Dirac Operator on SpheresRecent results on pin structures on hypersurfaces in spin manifolds are reviewed. A new form of the Dirac operator is used to compute its spectrum on .-dimensional spheres. This constrbution is based on two papers by the author, where details and proofs can be found (Ref.4 and 5).

Recently the new approach [3–13] for solving this problem has been suggested, where twistor-like variables have been introduced in addition to the world coordinates.
