Electromagnetic Waves in Anisotropic Dispersive Media,the concept of Faraday rotation and describes how wave propagation in a ferrite medium is non-reciprocal, and depends on the direction of propagation relative to an applied field. This is further explored in Problem . where we consider plane wave propagation at an angle to the applied field in a ferrite sample.
