Aerodynamics of Trajectory Control for Re-Entry at Escape Speedre-entry vehicle capable of meeting the aerodynamic requirements for range control are discussed briefly. From a fixed-base simulator study for one of these vehicles it is concluded that the typical maneuvers required for range control can be performed satisfactorily by a human pilot with the aid of artificial damping.
