Applying Real-Time Scheduling Techniques to Software Processes: A Position Paper,ted. We seek to support reasoning about the real-time requirements of software processes. In this paper, we describe work in which we have added real-time specications to a process programming language, and in which we have added deadline timers and task scheduling to enforce the real-time requirements of processes.

Building Expressive and Flexible Process Models Using a UML-Based Approach,of PROMENADE features into a slightly extended UML. PROMENADE also supports the definition of flexible models by leaving some parts undefined until enactment time. We illustrate the use of PROMENADE by presenting in some detail a case study consisting in the modelling of the process of construction of a software component library.

The paper provides an inside report of such process and proposes several discussion issues about the differences between this particular context and the more known industrial one.
