Software Operational Profile Modeling,es what values the input variables may take, when the input variables may take a value to drive the software, and how many values the input variables may take to drive the software. In other words, SOP can be defined in terms of behavior of input variables, although uncertainty is associated with them.

Modeling of Probably Zero-Defect Software,f estimating how many defects are left in the software, in these applications one may be more concerned with the probability of the software being defect-free. A piece of safety-critical software is acceptable if it is highly confident that the software is defect-free.
