Matrix-Valued Bidirectional Associative Memoriesive memories, a further generalization of the real-valued neural networks, for which the states, outputs, and thresholds are all square matrices, are introduced. After giving the definition of these networks, an expression for an energy function is provided. A proof is given that this function is indeed an energy function for the proposed network.
