Further research will be carried out in future to examine more varied groups of students to reinforce the research findings.

An Examination of Greek College Students’ Perceptions of Positive and Negative Effects of Social Netons. Findings show that social networking has a positive effect on student learning, communication, and motivation. However, social networking can also lead to feelings of isolation and concerns about academic performance and privacy. Implications for practice are discussed.
