Variation-Aware Circuit Macromodeling and Design Based on Surrogate Models performance models are built with design parameters and parametric variations, and they can be used for fast and systematic design space exploration and yield analysis. Surrogate models of the main device characteristics are generated in order to assess the effects of variability in analog circuits

Modelling Molecular Processes by Individual-Based Simulations Applied to Actin Polymerisation simulate the processing of actin filaments. These filaments form a major part of the cell-shape determining cytoskeleton and contribute to a number of cell functions. In our paper, we develop and investigate three models with different levels of detail. Our work demonstrates the potential of individual-based modelling in systems biology.
