Temperature Sensing in Microorganisms,ussion will emphasize those problems, and then briefly cover examples of thermosensing in several specific organisms. The emphasis will be on the evidence for specificity — that a specific thermoreceptor molecule is perturbed by heat energy and interacts with a specific transduction pathway, resulting in a specific behavioral response.
