Orbit Determination in the Presence of Atmospheric Drag Errorssequential fashion. In addition to estimates of the state, sequential estimates of the unmodeled aerodynamic accelerations are determined also. The estimates of the unmodeled accelerations can be used to improve knowledge of both the vehicle drag parameter and the atmospheric density.

Solar Radiation Pressure and Balloon Type Artificial Satellitesl with those obtained from some direct numerical integrations. It is shown that this model can be suitably combined with the Brouwer-Hori model in order to study the long term perturbations on the trajectories of balloon satellites arising from the joint action of solar radiation pressure and atmospheric drag.
