While these authors are of different religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds, they use the go-between, an essential figure in the Andalusi courtly discourse of desire, to open up a secular, more tolerant intellectual space in the face of increasingly fundamentalist currents in their respective cultures. The way this study focuses on the hybrid discourses and identities of medieval Iberia as Muslim, Jewish and Christian responses to continual contact/conflict reflects a methodological approach based in Cultural and Translation Studies. | 出版日期 | Book 2007 | 关键词 | Arabic; culture; discourse; English literature; Europe; Judaism; literature; media; Medieval Literature; memo | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1057/9780230606975 | isbn_softcover | 978-1-349-53844-7 | isbn_ebook | 978-0-230-60697-5Series ISSN 2945-5936 Series E-ISSN 2945-5944 | issn_series | 2945-5936 | copyright | Palgrave Macmillan, a division of Nature America Inc. 2007 |
