Regenerative Rehabilitation for Nonlethal Muscular Dystrophies,n order to protect muscle from damage caused by its own contractions. On the plus side, skeletal muscle cells can regenerate from damage and death through muscle-generating stem cells (known as muscle satellite cells) present in muscle tissue, whereas nerve cells have limited regenerative potential.
