Some Problems in Large Scale Non-Hermitian Matrix Computations, the art of theory and algorithms of commonly used numerical methods for large scale nonsymmetric (non-Hermitian) eigenproblems. We finally pose some challenging problems on the existing three kinds of popular solvers: orthogonal projection methods, oblique projection methods and refined projection methods.

Bayesian Inpainting Based on Geometric Image Models,eys and summarizes all the recent inpainting models based on the Bayesian and variational principle. A unified view is developed around the central topic of geometric image models. We also discuss their associated Euler-Lagrange PDE’s and numerical implementation. A few open problems are proposed.

Basic Structures of Superconvergence in Finite Element Analysis,lity correction technique are especially emphasized. There are two basic structures of superconvergence, i.e. Gauss-Lobatto points and symmetric points. Their accuracy and global property are also analysed. Four main principles in using superconvergence are proposed.
