Fatigue Life Assessment of an Existing Railway Bridge in India Incorporating Uncertainty,damage. Also, the probability of fatigue failure of the bridge is estimated which indicates a risk of 77% damage of the critical members after 80 years. It is observed that fatigue failure is supposed to occur in between 80 and 90 years of service. The probabilistic approach with direct MCS yields the most conservative prediction.
