The Number of Slots and Electromagnetic Core Effects on Eddy Current Brake Performance: A Computatiod (FEM), where the simulated ECB modeling was varied by 10, 20, and 30 slots using a change in the number of electromagnetic field sources. The results of this study obtained a description of the braking torque with the largest value in the variation of 10 slots using four electromagnets, namely, 59.18 Nm.
