A New Approximation Algorithm for the ,-dimensional Knapsack Problem Based on Hopfield Networks which is known to be an NP-complete problem. It is also known that there is no fully polynomial-time approximation scheme for .-KP for . unless .. In this work, we design an approximation algorithm for .-KP based on the Hopfield networks. Experimental results show that our proposed algorithm outperforms a well-known greedy algorithm in many cases.

Modification Algorithm to Node Localization Error for Wireless Sensor Networksn of signal transmission model as well as the ranging process, and a modified weighted centroid localization algorithm is proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that the proposed approach can effectively reduce the three-dimensional node localization error.
