A Clinical Scoring System for Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Childrenon. In 1979 we reported (5) a new clinical score modified from the Shwachman clinical score for cystic fibrosis (6) specifically designed for use in the pediatric population that could be used for both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
