Investigations of Tissue Microwave and Thermal Properties for Combined Microwave and Thermal Modellieating is the dominant loss mechanism, and the field patterns of the exposure environment become the major concern. At higher frequencies, rapidly rising dielectric losses limit exposure to the superficial tissues, becoming anatomically and electromagnetically a skin-depth problem.
