Chemotherapy followed by whole-abdominal radiation therapy for ovarian cancer,ombination chemotherapies is generally less than five years [2–6] (Table 1). It is clear from these results that a substantial portion of the complete remitters after combination chemotherapy will fail after three or more years of follow-up. These patients obviously had undetected microscopic disease which was resistant to chemotherapy.
