Existence Theory,In Section 20, we proved the existence of solutions of linear systems of ordinary differential equations with variable coefficients, even though we were not able to write down the solution explicitly. In this chapter existence theorems will be proved for some rather general nonlinear differential systems, both with and without delays.

Linear Delay Differential Systems,Chapter IV exploited the nice properties of linear systems of ordinary differential equations. We shall now show how at least some of these properties carry over to linear systems of delay differential equations.

Autonomous Ordinary Differential Systems,Differential equations which arise in real-world physical problems are often too complicated to solve exactly. And even if an exact solution is obtainable, the required calculations may be too complicated to be practical, or the resulting solution may be difficult to interpret.

R. D. Driverl sequence was fifteen days at school followed by thirty days down in Pontil 2, and this for two years. This sector was difficult. I remember the temperature... climbing up to fifty degrees, the ventilation was out of date, the galleries were narrow... This all made working difficult. I am sure that
