Thermodynamics of Solar Cells,ssary requirements. In addition, their understanding is at least misleading when applied to solar cells. In order to be able to find new concepts for more efficient solar cells, wrong ideas must be corrected. Since thermodynamics is independent of particular device aspects, it is particularly well suited to explore the limits of solar cells.
