Two- and Three-Photon Spectroscopy of Solidsxperiments on two-photon magnetooptics of Landau levels in GaAs-AlGaAs multiple quantum wells are presented. Detailed information on experimental setups using nanosecond and picosecond tunable lasers will be given.

Nanoparticles in Amorphous Solids and their Nonlinear Propertiesuantum dots will be also presented and their properties analyzed. The relation between the energies of the electronic states and size of the particles will be discussed and their nonlinear properties reported.

Computer Modeling of Nonlinearitiesscuss the difficulties introduced by these nonlinearities in computations required to predict laser performance and the response of a nonlinear medium to laser excitation. Examples of these phenomena will be drawn from the YAG:Tm, Ho solid state laser system.

Nonlinear Spectroscopy of the Electron-Hole Plasma in Semiconductorsasma. In this contribution the properties of this electron-hole plasma are explained and some selected experimental examples are given for its nonlinear spectroscopy in three-dimensional semiconductors and in quasi two- and one-dimensional structures, respectively.
