The Planetary Collegium’s Ninth International Research Conferece, Consciousness ReframediA and the Planetary Collegium since its inception in 1994. Indeed the emergent field of enquiry in which our groundbreaking research artists were first engaged — that of Interactive Art — was intrinsically syncretic in seeking the symbiosis of what was then, and is to some extent now, commonly seen as the incompatibility of science and art.

“Realities from the unconscious” or “Reprogramming digital sub(con)texts” Worlds which may remind us of Dr. Daniel Schreber’s “Aufzeichnungen eines Nervenkranken” (Recordings of a nerve patient). But what is it we neglect to see or displace in those media systems? How can we render those magic borders visible which surround each game and medium, how can we capture their rules and make them even playable?
